Harrison Street Garden
Over the past several months, we've been keeping busy in the neighbourhood. Our backyard garden on nearby Harrison street is bursting at the seams! Next time you're in, check the menu carefully for Harrison Street produce (right now, we've got tomatoes and fresh herbs on the go). Pictures are coming soon!

Victoria Day // American Express
In case you are wondering, we will be open for our usual Monday hours on Victoria Day, May 21st 2012.
We open at 6pm for dinner and serve food til 1AM. Oh, and you know about the half-price bottles of wine, right?!
In other news...you asked, and we listened! We are proud to announce that we now accept American Express cards.

Mother's Day at Union
Union will be open for brunch and dinner on Sunday the 13th of May.
We will not be accepting reservations for brunch.
In leu of our Paris 4-course Dinner, we'll be offering a 3-course Mother's Day dinner at $40 per person. The menu, like our Sunday Paris menu, will have 3 or 4 options for each course. We are accepting reservations in two seatings.

Holiday Hours
Union is open regular hours on Good Friday (April 6, 2012) and Saturday, April 7.
We are serving brunch on Sunday, April 8th from 11am-3pm but will be CLOSED for dinner service.
We re-open at 6pm on Monday, April 8th. Have a great long weekend, we hope to see you!

Grab A Seat While You Can For Our Wine Maker's Dinner with Norm Hardie On February 28th
On Tuesday February 28th Union Will be hosting a delicious event featuring superstar wine maker Norman Hardie. The event will boast a 5 course meal from Chef Teo paired with Norm's superb wines. This is not only a culinary event, it is a charitable one too. We are asking $250 a plate, $100 of which goes directly to the Leacock Foundation which is dedicated to providing enhanced educational opportunities for disadvantaged and academically at-risk children living in Toronto. So come out and enjoy while giving back to the community at the same time.

Cava's Groundhog Invitational
Yesterday UNION headed up to Yonge & St. Clair for Cava Restaurant's 3rd annual Groundhog Invitational Charcuterie Competition. It was our second year participating in the event.
Luke & Teo created a West Indian inspired dish: smoked pig's head and salt cod terrine paired with curried beef and pork salami & fresh roti . This plate won the award for the Audience's Favourite!
We had a great time tasting everyone's entries and were elated to take home the title! Thanks to everyone involved!
